There was a time when I almost didn’t become a therapist and pursued baking instead. There was always something comforting, peaceful, and fulfilling about creating pastries and bringing people together through food, but that meant EARLY mornings, and I am NOT a morning person, so that option was out pretty quick. Spoiler alert, I ended up becoming a therapist and I’m so happy that I did. While I still love to bake for my friends and family, I’m also a cat mom to two adorable and chaotic cats; I watch way too much TV; love playing card games, video games, and piano; love to dance (even though I’m not very coordinated); love horror movies, fall, snd spooky season; and am a bit of an adrenaline junky.
About
I have always known that I wanted to work with people in some capacity. Mental health has always a part of my life in one way or another, and throughout my own experiences and challenges, I began to grow a deep respect and passion for the ways in which we all learn to navigate life’s complexities. I have seen and experienced just how powerful it can be to have someone to listen without judgment, to help you make sense of things, to sit with you when there aren’t easy answers, or even to challenge you in a way that makes you think. It has always been a dream of mine to learn how to support people in that way.
As a therapist now, I feel deeply honored to do this work. It’s not about having the answers or fixing people—it’s about walking alongside them as they explore, grow, heal, or just survive the hard days. Everyone’s story is different, and I’m continually humbled by the trust people place in me to be part of theirs. This work is about connection, compassion, and creating space for people to be fully themselves. And I honestly can’t imagine doing anything else.
